My name is Jason Macukewicz, a 2017 graduate of Rowan University with a B.A. in Radio, Television and Film. I have been enjoying media production since I was first introduced to it during my freshman year at Shawnee High School. I went on to spend most of my time interning at local educational cable access channel, Lenape District Television, which I continued throughout my high school career.
While in college I worked countless hours as Post-Production Director for Rowan Television Network and produced commercials for Flying W Airport to be aired via Comcast Spotlight and more. I completed an internship at WPVI-TV, 6abc in Philadelphia during my final semester in the spring of 2017.
Starting at the end of 2017, I worked at NFL Films as an assistant editor for flagship programs such as: NFL The Grind on EPIX, NFL Films Presents on FS1, and NFL Matchup on ESPN. I also covered for positions on shows such as Good Morning Football Weekend, Inside the NFL, NFL Turning Point, and various specials.
Currently, I am working full time as an Aerial Photojournalist for Helicopters, Inc. Using a fully equipped ENG helicopter, I respond to breaking news scenes and gather aerial shots that are critical to various types of stories. When on the ground, my focus is to provide excellent customer service and communication to our news station customers. I currently respond to stories for Fox 29 (WTXF) as SkyFox and CBS 3 (KYW) as Chopper 3.
